Celebration of American Education Week Nov. 17-24. Dr. Jack D. Taylor has been named acting president until the college's advisory board chooses a new president to replace Dr. Joe B. Rushing who resigned Nov. 1.

Under direction of Mrs. Margetta Styles, the Junior College of Broward County was the only nursing school in Broward County. The capping ceremony is a tradition in schools of nursing.
