Despite the objection of BJC Dean of Instruction Dr. E.P. Lauderdale that he is being demoted, the school board creates a new post to handle 16 programs under his jurisdiction.

A formal farawell to Dr. Joe B. Rushing, former president of the Junior College Broward County.

A testimonial dinner was scheduled for Dr. Joe Rushing. Dr. Rushing is leaving BJC.

College Forum: article by praising Dr. Joe Rushing president of the Junior College of Broward County. Dr. Rushing will become president of the Tarrant County Junior College in Ft. Worth.

Dr. Rushing guided Broward Junior College's dream and now will be beginning another educational dream at Terrant County Junior college in Ft. Worth, Texas.
