BCC trains about 80 percent of the allied health workers in Broward County, from dental assistants and hygienists to physical therapy assistants, massage therapists, and technicians in a variety of fields such as diagnostic sonography and radiography.
Building 41, used originally as an administration and student services building, was constructed of a series of triangles and was an attention-getter on Coconut Creek Parkway. The building was razed to make way for the Health Science Center II.

On North Campus, the two-story, L-shaped Health Science Center II occupies the space where the original campus building stood. The building was designed by the architectural firm of Rodriguez and Quiroga.
The Charles R. Forman Center, dedicated in January 1984, was designed by Fort Lauderdale architect James Knox Pownall. The center was planned as the home for the variety of health science programs offered by the college, offering classroom and laboratory space.
