David Porter, JCBC sophomore has won every individual award possible in photography. Porter is photo editor of the school newspaper, "The Venetian Crier" and the yearbook, "The Silver Sands."

Broward Junior College's newspaper the Venetian Crier and yearbook Silver Sands win 21 awards at the Press Association Conference in Gainesville. David Porter won first place awards for feature photos, news photos, and sports photos.

Circle K Club of Broward Junior College was awarded the top award of the A. P. Phillips Achievement Award Contest.

For taking second place in the 1963 A. P. Phillips Achievement Award Contest.

Twenty scholarship students attended the Women's Civic Club luncheon at the Reef.

The award was presented to Miss Doris Horton business teacher at Junior College of Broward County.
