Some foundation board members continued or renewed ties with the college when they joined the board. Retired architect F. Louis Wolff designed the North Campus Omni Auditorium.
The Omni, shown just after its completion in 1980, is home to the BCC men's basketball team and the women's volleyball team and is used for theatrical productions, graduations, and cultural events. The facility seats 2,000.
