Speaker Dr. John Allen president of the University of South Florida, Tampa will be the speaker at the first commencement exercises of the Junior College of Broward County.

The Observer is the college wide student newspaper of Broward College. The Observer offers student editors and reporters the opportunity to learn about writing, editing, photography, graphic design, and desktop publishing. In addition, The Observer is widely recognized for its excellence and has won numerous state and individual awards.

With the aid of camera trickery, both boys in the picture are Mike Sullivan, who plays a dual role in the Junior College of Broward County's first dramatic offering.

The Venetian Players of Broward College of Broward County will present Jean Anouilh's comic fable "Ring Round the Moon".

The Ford Foundation will send a team of education specialists to Broward County to study plans for S. Florida Educational Park at Forman Field.
